Exploring Lido Village with the Family

I have been dying to check out the new Lido Village over in Newport Beach. I had countless people say that I had to try Zinque for breakfast or lunch. Well on Mother's Day the hubby surprised me, as we all piled into the car and headed over to Lido Village. Protip, head over early. Since the kiddos get us up early anyway we were there by 8:45am. We had no problem finding parking and had our pick of tables at Zinque. Overlooking the water we had the most delicious and enjoyable breakfast! So yummy!

We ordered the crispy fried eggs with prosciutto, pesto and arugula and it came with this potato gratin that was amazing!! The kids loved the scrambled eggs and the banana bread. This place is a must visit! Now something to keep in mind, we were there on a Sunday and shops didn't open until 11am so we walked around for a while before we could go into the shops. The one shop that was open was the Lido Village Books which had the most adorable kids corner. We literally sat there for over an hour reading through books (and chasing after Greyson). Bookstores are one of my happy places. Piper and I both actually. We sometimes sneak off just the 2 of us and go for a bookstore adventure.

There are the most adorable shops and the cutest fountain for the kids. I was told later in the day they bring out toy boats for the kids to play with at the fountain. How cute is that!?

There were so many adorable spots to take photos here I had way too much fun!!
